Innocent Bystander 0 Posted February 13, 2003 On the back of the box on my GOTY there is a label that says: TCP/IP 2 players + Network tcp/ip minumum 56 modem (128 recomended for host) Iv slapped up a lan/network with some friends at home... for both lan and online game play. We are 4 friends and 2 of us got the GOTY pack...now,does the lable description means that 2 guys can play on one game? ps. all friends go thru my IP. Thx for any help. medvidek 0 Posted February 13, 2003 Each player needs to have his own original CD with the game, than one of you can make a server and all player can join using LAN.
Innocent Bystander 0 Posted February 13, 2003 Ok? But what does the 2 players + means? They dont have to explain that 2 or more can join a lan....
Skunk Monkey 0 Posted February 13, 2003 It means you can only have a multiplayer game with more than 2 players !! BTW - I tried ICS at another Clan members house when my ADSL was down - thinking we could both play OFP online - but somehow we didnt configure it right and only 1 PC could play at once - if the other tried to connect the first lost connection. Maybe for 2 players on 1 IP you need to change some settings. (Yes we both have our own copies of OFP)

Skunk Monkey 0 Posted February 13, 2003 Yes but not to our Clan server on the Internet... which was the point as we both needed to play in Clan Match and my connection was down for a few weeks while I swapped ISP's.
Guest BratZ Posted February 18, 2003 Correct...that means 2 players are required for a lan game, but more can play too,if you have a 4 or 5 player lan ,all can play. Just basically that 2 people are needed for a multiplayer game (wouldn't be mp with only one) So don't expect to go home by yourself and play a mp lan game
