Why desync instead of high ping?

Ok, i have a little network of 2 computers and both computers are running flashpoint. my connection is 0.5 mbit adsl. both computers are playing all the time and now i always have little desync when playing, i want higher ping instead. rather 150 in ping than 5000 desync, now i can play with 50 ping both computers.

hmm. yes. i really need help, make my games playable
