Destroying enemy weapon, ammo, and supply caches

Is there a method where you can destroy caches of enemy small arms, ammo, and supplies? I've tried using explosives (using the ones in Unsung) and that didn't work. However I was able to destroy them with a grenade launcher or LAW. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
