Innocent Bystander 0 Posted February 6, 2003 Ok,went bought the GOTY box. Installed all 3 discs and upgrade from 1.85>1.90>1.91 Looked at All seeing eye for servers...found like 38. started opf and went to MP...but i cant refresh or find any servers... looks in manual,it says i gotta manual type in the ip to a dedicated server??! Then i thought i should try red hammer or resistance offline/online...but i cant find where to start them?? I only find "play original opf" or play "GOTY edition" the goty looks just the original that i already have. Now,what do i do?? Very lost,so i need answeres(plz) on these Q:s How do i start red hammer? How do i start Resistance? How do i find servers(except for ASE and GSA)? Do i need to DL and install alot of islands and stuff? I got the 3 GF-OPF_desert pack,winter pack and jungle pack. HELP! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You should be able to find ALL PROGRAMS\ CODEMASTERS\ OPERATION FLASHPOINT\ FLASHPOINT RESISTANCE That would run version 1.91. You'll need that to play the Resistance campaign. Before you start either the 1985 or Red Hammer Campaigns, look for the 1.9 patches for each campaign on BIS' download page. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

DO NOT install a similar patch for Red Hammer listed on the download page. It's included in GOTY. From the menu, the GOTY edition of OFP is what you want to play. The classic will run 1.46. Thought i had them on the original discs that came with the box? Damn im so lost. I bought the GOTY box(version 1.85 it says when installed) Just tell me step by step... theavonlady 2 Posted February 6, 2003 Resistance and Red Hammer are campaigns. You'll find them under the Campaigns menu option from OFP's main menu. One campaign is displayed at a time. To go to the follwoing or previous campaign, you'll see an arrow on the campaign page you can click on. Innocent Bystander 0 Posted February 6, 2003 Forgot,the last question,i promise. About the GP-OFP-desert,winter,jungle zips i downloaded... Are there anything i need to know before extracting them? Do they work with 1.91? Will the new missions/islands/skins/vehicles show up in GOTY regular or in resistance?? ....anything i should need to know? You guys prolly hate me..but thx anyway!
