Guest Posted March 14, 2021 Hello map builders! Currently, I am working on my maps' forests and were wondering about one thing to make them look even better. I have succesfully generated some acceptable looking forests using terrain processor. Now I was wondering if I could make the forest edges a bit more nice by adding some bushes. I have a lot of shapefiles I used for my forest, it would be ideal if I could re-use them somehow. So I can generate this on a larger scale. I am self-taught and doing this purely for hobby so I may lack some "general knowledge"! Please forgive me if I missed out something very important 😛 I'd be very happy to recieve your suggestions! Greetings, SubsidedLemon
Guest Posted March 14, 2021 Got my answer from the discord channel. I forgot that it was there, and more active. I'll try to convert my polygon to line trough QGIS and get TerrainProcessor to work. See what it gets me. If that fails, SFlora maybe. But I'd prefer using tools I allready have and know (a very little bit)
