Scanger 0 Posted February 1, 2003 Major, i was beginning to like you, but you didn't comment on my camel, anyway, I myself am a Firefighter, and have dealt with situations that I wouldn't wish on anyone, I've seen horrific burns on 1yr old babies, I have carried out smouldering corpses in bodybags, I am well accustomed to the horrors in life and know that with war such things will come, but whether we like it or not war is inevitible. Now you see Major, I'm not all bad, I do help some people, maybe someday you'll need my help
Mister 5 0 Posted February 1, 2003 </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (FSPilot @ Feb. 01 2003,05:47)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE"></span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">The real reason why that statement is stupid is because 9/11 has only been used as a reason to attack one country, and is being used as a partial excuse to threaten another, bringing the total to 1.5 times 9/11 has been used in that way, if you count the second instance, which hasn't really even happened (yet). Hardly "whoever they want."<span id='postcolor'> And the reason why your statement is stupid is because 1) we're not talking about Afghanistan, which IS about 09/11. Â and 2) We are not attacking Iraq directly because of what happened on 9/11.<span id='postcolor'> The reasons why my statement is infact, not stupid are 1) Fubar said </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">It's about time the US gets over S11 as an excuse to attack whoever they want.<span id='postcolor'> This sentence is DEFINATELY related (at least indirectly) to the war in Afghanistan, hence we are talking about Afghanistan, which is, as we both agree, about 9/11. 2) I agree that we are certainly not attacking Iraq because of what happened on 9/11. If you had read my post clearly, you'd have noticed that I listed it only as a partial excuse. Once again, to clarify, My post was mostly addressing Fubar's post. He said, and once again I quote </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">It's about time the US gets over S11 as an excuse to attack whoever they want.<span id='postcolor'> So I said that Afghanistan is the only country to have been attacked over 9/11. A small portion of the proposed reasons for attacking Iraq are that its leader may have had connections with Al Qaeda. My conclusion is that only one country has been attacked by the US exclusively because of 9/11. All in all, I'm saying that Fubar's statement simply isn't true, and the US is, in fact, not using "S11 as an excuse to attack whoever they want." k?

Warin 0 Posted February 1, 2003 All righty. This has gone completely off the original content of the thread. If we want to discuss Iraq and the politics around it..well, there is that other thread.
