Multi-textures and proxies

Recommended Posts

I've got two questions that I think some of you may have throught about, but not asked if possible.

Question 1;

Is it possible to have a proxy within a proxy, without causing any problems.

eg. ClusterBomb loaded with Mines or other smaller bombs. Which are designed to detach at a set height.

Question 2;

Is there a way to attach a different texture to a complete model without having to make a complete model. This could reduce the size of the PDO files. I've managed to make only three models, but have seven addons based on those three.

I hope someone else has been thinking about this too. And hopefully we can find some answers.

Question 1: If I got it right - dont know - thats already the Case when you have a proxy in a vehicle (soldier model) and this model has a weapon proxy or something like that (well they all have...)

But i dont think this helps you with your cluster Bomb unless you dont want to REALLY detach them but make an animation that looks like detaching...

Ok can anyone read what i write? tounge.gifconfused.gif

Yes I have been considering this.My Helldiver I made the skin in like 3 seperate pieces.But next one will be one and I have a plan.....

Use hidden selections....name the whole model and change the skin easily.Next (F4U) will be like this
