Error found in file.......

Help when i tryed to update the game after a fresh instalastion of cold war and resistance coz of problems with it i get this when i try applying the update patches:

Verifying Operation Flashpoint, version 1.00...

Error found in file MPMissions\1-8_D_FlagFight.ABEL.pbo (1f1ee374!=ba799fe7)

Error found in file MPMissions\2-8_T_CaptureTheFlag1.EDEN.pbo (b9a00938!=25c6db05)

One or more files in game instalation are modified or dammaged.

Reinstall game from original CD disc and try again.

And things like this for the resistance patches:

Please help me with these errors for i wish to UPDATE the game.... sad.gif

First, try coping those files from your original CD into their respective folders (MPMISSIONS, for example) and try running the patch again.

If that fails, search The FAQ for "checksum error".

k i did that then the patch works and starts applying the patch but crashes and crahses explorer and loads of other stuff then when i try the patch again it does them errors again.... crazy.gif

Did you follow through on everything possible, mentioned in The FAQ item I pointed out to you? confused.gif

Pretty much sounds like "but not everything". Eactly what did you do? Also, what are your detailed system specs?

Do you have a motherboard with a VIA chipset?

Did you update your ASPI layer?

Ive had OFP since it came out it's just gone like this recently when i removed it from my computer and now it's doing this so it has to be something thats happened since ive had it installed!!!
