My cd won't work when i try to upgrade my version?

Is there a way that I can get my upgrades to work with-out the CD because when I try to load the Upgrade it says "Please Insert CD" "NOTE" (words may not be exact). Anyway is there a way that I can get it to work with-out the CD?: Cracks, Docs, anything.

I forgot to Add this, I do have the original version, CD and all fresh from the shop, I have tried about 4 upgrades.
