FDesign 0 Posted January 8, 2003 Hello everybody... I recently bought Resistance (I own the Gold Pack with Cold War Crisis and Red Hammer for a while already). I had uninstalled all Flashpoints during the time until I got resistance so I now reinstalled them all again... Is this install process correct: 1. Install Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis 2. Install Operation Flashpoint Red Hammer Gold Upgrade 3. Install Operation Flashpoint Resistance 4. Patch up to 1.90 Now, doing the steps above should everything in the game be correct (aka all weapons cars and such are in)? (Or do I need to install some other patches in the process?) I am asking this because Ive encountered some problems like: 1. East AA Soldier (Playing him it says an error, but lets you play. Only thing that seems wrong is that it does not show AA weapons weapon nor ammo information under its menu on Map screen) 2. There is one weapon (dont remember which one exactly) where I cant hear no reloading sound. 3. Also, for some reason, M16 holder seems a bit more round as usual, but maybe its added during the update of resistance... Any help/diagnosis/suggestions? theavonlady 2 Posted January 8, 2003 Correct order. But there's a 1.90 patch for the 1985 campaign and one for Red Hammer. Get them on BIS' downloads page. Regarding the Strella error, it's harmless. Search The FAQ for "strella".
theavonlady 2 Posted January 8, 2003 I just want to add that you can patch up to 1.91 instead of 1.90.
FDesign 0 Posted January 8, 2003 Holy crap... Seeing your postcount it seems like you were already here before I was born... Nice faq as well, thanks... Still the error message annoys me, is there any way at all of disabling it? And if I now install OFP 1.90 and Red Hammer 1.90 compability upgrades, then there wont be no problems? (Aka I dont have to reinstall stuff?)

(Aka I dont have to reinstall stuff?)<span id='postcolor'> That's the way it should be. Some people have had problems installing the Red Hammer 1.90 patch. I recommend making a backup of Red Hammer beforehand, just in case. Search The FAQ for "red hammer backup" to find out how. You won't have the PDF file mentioned in the matching FAQ item but it's not important. The other 2 files are.
