Mowgli 0 Posted December 29, 2002 Has anyone here installed the latest Catalyst drivers (3.0) and DirectX9 and had that fix the flickering problem in OFP? We have a guy over on the Rage3D forum who is claiming just that. I find it hard to beleive, but thought I'd ask around here. Thanks for replies in advance. Lord Rangarion 0 Posted December 29, 2002 Hi, I have a 9700 Pro and DX9 installed. I also tried Catalyst 3.0 but it didn´t work for me. Well it works with Flashpoint CWC and with Resistance V1.75. But after patching to Version 1.85 I got a BlueScreen without any Errormessage and the game and Windows (XP) crashed. I reinstalled Catalyst 2.5.
Mowgli 0 Posted December 31, 2002 Here is a link to the thread in question, although it provides no illumination whatsoever, as the folks with the problem "solved" seem to have clammed up. Link to the thread

Totala 0 Posted January 7, 2003 ATI is suppose to work out this issue ... I hope so since I really wish I could enjoy OFP with FSAA and aniso enabled ... not like on my GeForce4 which is fine for playing @1280x1024 but with no FSAA Is BIS also working on this bug that most R9700(Pro) owners have ?? MartinH 0 Posted January 9, 2003 No, the DX9 Catalyst 3 combination does not solve the problem. Please see the post I made in an older thread: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=24668
