shrike 0 Posted December 23, 2002 For some odd reason our server goes back to map selection screen as soon as you select and start a mission with a white flag in it (basically all our capture & hold maps). All maps with any other flag then a white one work without any problems. The error message I get is something like: "white.pac not found". In which *.pbo is this file? I am not into editing, I have no idea... Server version is Linux 1.90f, no unofficial addons installed. Thanx for your helpful tips, merry X-Mas all  Shrike
Cloney 0 Posted December 23, 2002 CD may be dirty. Clean it and reinstall?
shrike 0 Posted December 23, 2002 Hehe, thank you. Nice idea! But my CD is ok! To clarify things: I created my server files using Kegetys' pack'n'go script (Thanks by the way!), which basically selects and packs the essential files from a fresh windows client installation and reduces it in size to speed up the remote upload to the Server. Maybe something went wrong or the file containing the white flag was not included. However the server works fine, except when the map uses white/neutral flags. shrike 0 Posted December 28, 2002 Edit: Probem solved by uploading data.pbo (105 MB original version 1.46)
benu 1 Posted December 30, 2002 I think Kegetys made a dataminimal.pbo which contains only the flags, so you don't have to upload the whole data.pbo. But i'm not sure WHICH flags it actually contains. In other words: Did you use Kegetys minimal pbo and the flag was missiong there too? If not you can use that one instead of the big original pbo... shrike 0 Posted December 30, 2002 Well, it didn't work with the small data.pbo version created within Kegetys' pack script. Every other original flag seemed to be there, except the white one. The problem is solved anyway, I found the file in the de-pboed data.pbo and just to make sure I uploaded the whole file. Â Cheers and happy new year!
benu 1 Posted December 30, 2002 Hmm, i am using the datapbominimal on my server too. So, i am missing the white flag too it seems. Maybe worth a note to Kegetys. Or it's my chance to try how difficult it is to add a flag to a pbo...
