pide2020 0 Posted December 7, 2002 hi all, ive been messing around with 02, and i was wondering, when setting up the front /side/top views as per Clnl Klinks tutorials, would it be a good idea to have the 3 view as one lod, then build the actual model in another, cause i keep clicking on the 3view planes and my textures go missing, not that its hard to re apply them, just time consuming, or is there a better way to do this? pide2020 0 Posted December 7, 2002 ok that worked fine for in modeller, having the pictures there but not clickable, can i have 2 lod's visible in bulldozer at once? so i can still see picture planes in o2 & bulldozer but planes arent clickable while working on model if yu know what i mean
VXR 9 Posted December 7, 2002 try to let o2 hide the 3 view things so its not clickable by accident while working on the model hide them by selecting them and pressing CTRL-H and to unhide press CTRL-SHIFT-H
pide2020 0 Posted December 7, 2002 that does the trick thanks Vixer, apart from the ctrl + shft + h to unhide the selection...
pide2020 0 Posted December 7, 2002 also after i restarted and went back into o2, the 3 view planes and images are gone! is this to do with the hide/ unhide commands??
pide2020 0 Posted December 7, 2002 i was just thinking- i cant unhide the selection because i didnt name the selection, does this sound right? if so i should just recreate the 3view planes i guess, but where did the last ones go i wonder?
Skaircro 0 Posted December 7, 2002 Go into one of your view planes with nothing selected, then press, Ctrl-I, then Ctrl-Shift-H. Ctrl-I selects everything that is NOT selected (i.e invert selection) Ctrl-Shift-H unhides everything that IS selected. As to the images not being there when you restart, that is because O2 does not save the background images. You just have to put them back in again.
