Created Unit, Cannot See Unit Patch/Logo In The ARMA 3 Menu

So, I recently created an arma unit named the 23rd Marine Expeditionary Forces and whenever I go into armas launcher I don't see my unit under the unit tab, but my members can see it, is there a problem with what I did? Also I heard that It could possibly be a problem with my steam and BI accounts not being linked, but whenever I go to edit my account it wont allow me (whenever I send the verification code it does nothing) can someone help me with this problem id be much appreciative.
