disciple1942 0 Posted July 25, 2017 Hello and welcome to Joint Special Operations Task Force Ronin [JSOTF-R]! We are, first and foremost, an ArmA 3 Milsim unit. This means we follow United States military ranks, structure, as-well as customs and courtesies. We also use Task Force Radio in game as our way of communication. Our goal is to create and provide an immersive yet fun military simulation environment. We have multiple servers at our disposal. We have a server strictly for our training map so our members can better their skills as-well as attend schools to become qualified for more MOS’ and sections. We also have a modded operations server for our members to enjoy as-well as a Zeus server with active and seasoned Zeus users. __________________________________ Our Structure: ***1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment - OPEN The primary makeup of the unit is the 1-75th; this is the only way to enter SOJTF-R other than becoming a pilot. The 1st Battalion, 75th Rangers will be tasked with things such as airport takeovers, city assaults, as-well as work alongside the other units within the task force. As a Ranger, you will need to attend a Basic Combat Training course before becoming a full fledged member. Once through BCT, you can attend advanced schools such as Sniper School, S.E.R.E., among many others. Once specific requirements are met, you become eligible to attend selection for both the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion and SEAL Team 7. ***2nd Marine Raider Battalion - OPEN The 2nd Marine Raider Battalion are an elite fighting force of Marines.Their primary tasks will be gaining battlefield intelligence for the other units as-well as hostage rescue, direct action assaults, and more! Selection to become part of the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion will be held according to the team’s leader. There will be multiple schools you must complete before becoming eligible for selection. ***SEAL Team 7 - OPEN SEAL Team 7 is our elite group of naval personnel. The SEALs will be tasked with aquatic insertions, direct action assaults, high value target acquisition, and much more! Selection to become a SEAL will occur according to the team’s commander. There will be multiple advanced schools you must complete before becoming eligible for selection. 3rd Special Forces Group - CLOSED The 3rd Special Forces Group is a very small and elite detachment within the unit. The members of the SFG will be hand selected to attended selection from within SEAL Team 7 and the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion. Their primary purpose is to assist the other ground elements in anyway needed. ***24th Special Operations Wing - OPEN The 24th Special Operations Wing is the air wing that aids the task force. While in real life, the 24th SOW may only fly a few select airframes but in game, we have chosen to give them any airframe we use in our pack to take advantage of. They will fly both rotary wing as-well as fixed wing; transport and close air support. The 24th SOW will also be tasked with flying drones for both intelligence as-well as direct drone strikes. ***Any units with these asterisks beside the name are currently open for recruitment until full.
