spencer 0 Posted November 19, 2002 Hi I did a search and didn't spot anything... But I think I have a new bug to report to BIS. If I am on any side, and I try to knock out some armour for example a BMP and the crew jump out after I hit it with enough grenades and I kill them. I then repair the BMP with a truck and get in as the driver and ask my men to get in as the gunner and commander, they get in then jump right back out again.... Why??? It would be good to have it resolved =D
advocatexxx 0 Posted November 19, 2002 Try boarding the BMP as a commander, then instruct your AI comrades to fill in the driver and gunner positions. Once they're on board just switch to the driver's seat. Should work fine. Problem is more often than not enemy vehicle isn't considered "friendly" until a friendly force is in the commander seat. shadow 6 Posted November 19, 2002 I think it's like Advocate says. The reason usually is because one or more dead enemys are still aboard the unit -> therefore the AI consider it as hostile. Anyway, moving to TS
spencer 0 Posted November 19, 2002 Naaa, all the men were out, I'll try the commander thing though thanks
spencer 0 Posted November 20, 2002 Ok I tried the commander thing and they still jump outa again :/ There're no dead enemies in side, and I was the comander and the BMP was fully repaired.. What gives?
Shabadu 0 Posted November 21, 2002 What version are you on? I used to get this but I haven't done anything to warrant this response in ages. My preffered tactic in the campaign was to steal the nearest piece of armor and kick some infantry arse, rather than risk actually getting shot But when I did this I often had to drive and shoot all on my lonesome
