Lazarus_Long 0 Posted October 24, 2002 Greetings, I know this forum is crawling with Swedes so I figured i'd ask this question here. Â I have some relatives from Sweden coming to visit me here in Florida soon, and I've bought a Swedish flag that I'm planning to hang up on our flag pole while they are here. Here in the States, folding and storing the flag the proper way is very important and I figure that the same goes for Sweden or any country for that matter. The only thing I've found on the internet is that you're supposed to fold it so that there is no yellow showing, but I have yet to see any examples of exactly how it's done. Â I'd appreciate any information you could give me.
Guest Posted October 24, 2002 You fold it three or four times on the long side and after that you roll it towards the "tail" of the flag. When it is rolled you should not see any of the yellow fields.
Lazarus_Long 0 Posted October 24, 2002 So you are supposed to roll it then...I see. Do you mean roll it in sections to make a rectangle or do you simply roll it up in a tube shape, like a tent or a sleeping bag?
Guest Posted October 24, 2002 Roll it in a tube shape.
