Is the Eden Editors ability to convert 2d editor made missions to 3d here to stay?

I don't know if only a Bis member can answer this -

 

Is the Eden Editors ability to convert 2d editor made missions to 3d Eden form expected to be permanently installed in the Eden Editor even after the 2D editor option is removed/future updated Eden Editor versions/Etc?

 

I'm asking this primarily because I am using Neo's MB to create a variety of scenarios on a particular map, and I am happy to see that everything converts over well with the Eden Editor, and would like to know that this compatibility will remain for the future as well.

It will stay, there's no need to remove it. It will make even more sense once 2D editor is phased out.
