Mountain Security Group is a unique milsim/roleplay style Arma 3 unit that uses a Private Military/Security Contractor format and structure rather than the more typical military structure. We're a bit more casual than most milsim units, but we do take our roleplay seriously. We utilize the ACE 3 mod in addition to TFAR and a few other mods that enhance the immersiveness of Arma 3. Our ranks are comprised mostly of former milsim members, especially former members of the now defunct 10th Mountain Division milsim unit.

We ONLY accept members with previous milsim experience. People with experience as law enforcement in Arma roleplay servers (City Life, Arma 3 Life, Island Life, etc.) will also be considered.

This group is fairly new so we are still working on building our framework and recruit numbers. Unlike most milsim units, our operations (we call them "contracts") will have less than 20 people (usually 8-12 on average) participating. But it's not unusual to find us doing joint operations with groups such as the Air Force Strategic Operations Command (AFSOC) and the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team (4th SBCT).

In addition to co-op missions, we also play on Arma 3 and DayZ roleplay servers.

Our group is made up of people with a long history in Arma milsim including members with leadership experience, Special Forces, and Pararescue experience. There is NO Boot Camp because we expect you to already know your stuff when you join us.

We also expect our members to be familiar with mods, modpacks, and how to install/use them. We will be trying new mods from time to time and we prefer you to know how to quickly implement them when needed.

Finally, you can NOT be younger than 18, though we may make exceptions based on experience, activeness, and/or other factors.

If you're interested in joining, please go to our website and fill out our application. Once your application is received, we will review it and either deny it right away (we will give you a reason), or we will ask you to come in for an interview. At that point you will enter our Teamspeak and receive an interview for an "Operator" position.
