badluckburt 78 Posted June 19, 2015 The PNG import in TB is abysmal, I'd just avoid it if I were you. As to why it's so slow, the only person with a concrete answer would be the one who wrote the code that handles PNGs. I wouldn't be surprised if PNG gets converted to another format first and only processed after that whereas BMP and other formats are handled directly.
