I am using ace and wish to use the export files I was so educated to extract from my sp mission editing (ace export) Thanks to all who divulged how to tab out to copy clipboard in notepad.:eek: Problem with server cfg, is the console that houses default cfg files are editable (1) for main game ,(persistency vote threshold etx..name server), and there is the one (2) optionally for ace configure.. which is indicated to be used with the command line (cba,ace,ace server, aia...) . I cannot get the server to connect to the steam servers, if I use the -serverMod=@server_ace(folder from ACE3 instructions) and have the @server_ace in command line. I apparently am not grasping what I have read on ACE 3 wiki.. framework, or JestServer is different. bigpoppablunts 53 Posted June 12, 2015 The way i done it was... 1. Make a new folder named "@ace3server" , inside that folder create an "addons" folder. 2. Place the aceserver.pbo in that addons folder. 3. Add @ace3server to the servers command line. 4. Make sure your ace userconfig file is completed properly. 5. Start server. (etc ) they are after @ace3server ? I just tried it again. I must have screwed up the settings export. I saw iys a simple copy from notepad to the hpp file. Then save. (I didn't delete the example tho.)---------- Post added at 01:22 ---------- Previous post was at 01:08 ---------- The server will start with @cba; @ace3server; but if u put @ace; it wont start.
