Configure coil spring

hello everybody !

Today, i'm trying to configure a suspension with a coil spring but i'm stuck ! Normally, i select vertices but a coil spring have a lot vertices

I don't know how to squeeze the coil spring but i see that it's possible on the quad on arma 3 vanilla.
