curtac123 10 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) I have been trying too make a map now for three weeks and still have not even got it into the game :( I cant use terrain builder because no matter how hard i try i always get default sat file doesnt exist when i know it does i can see it right there , i have tried everything every sampler combo you could think of and no luck! i think it is because i resized in TB and it doesnt seem too like it , and visitor is just genrally terrible because when i go into buldozer in visitor i have a crack and say i click any key on my board the textures disapear and my buldozer goes white so i cant patch up the crack! Hope someone helps me or i may have too give up Edited January 22, 2015 by curtac123
badluckburt 78 Posted January 22, 2015 A good start would be to post: The dimensions of your map + horizontal scale The dimensions of your mask and sat layer images The settings you've tried to generate the tiles on Bushlurker already explained to you how to get rid of the crack I believe so I'm not going into that. But the above are the bare essentials for anyone to take a stab at the problem you're facing.

Hello here are the stuff you asked for http://snag.gy/KIMRY.jpg http://snag.gy/yBSQH.jpg
badluckburt 78 Posted January 23, 2015 Thanks. Everything looks good basically but I think the problem is in your map dimensions and the layer resolutions you end up with because of it. The cell size is probably the thing causing you trouble. 17 is a bit of an odd number and the resulting numbers are probably preventing TB from dividing the layers into tiles. You could try swapping the 16px overlap with the actual overlap, 208px. That sometimes helps, it does decrease map efficiency though. If that doesn't work, I would try other cellsizes like 15m, 16m or dropping down to 10 or 8 if it's possible for you to resize the map data. You may want to wait a while before you try it, maybe someone else notices something I missed.
