Supertaco 10 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) Every time i try to try to start Arma 2 OA it doesn't work the regular Arma 2 works but not OA it gives me this error. "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\ArmA2OA.exe The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail." then goes to the command prompt and says "Failed to start game" After that i can't get t so work i have redownloaded the vcredist things and tried running it as an admin but non of that works please help me. badluckburt 78 Posted December 26, 2014 Your thread title is intriguing to say the least. I was expecting a spambot :P Anyway, you're probably on the right track about re-installing Battleye. Also, make sure your Anti-virus doesn't block any Battleye stuff as some are known to get a false positive on BE due to the way it actually works. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
