Gmax/tempest - exporting files as .md3

Recommended Posts

Hi chaps,

When trying to export models from Gmax/Tempest in .md3 format (so that I can subsequently convert them to .3ds format in Milkshape), I always get an error - "No frames selected."

What am I doing wrong?

You must specify one or more frame numbers in the "export..."-dialog. There should be an edit-field named "The Following Frames", where you can enter them.

If you haven't messed around with animations, just enter the current frame's number. You can find it in the lower right corner of gmax's main window, to the right of this little key symbol (should be "0" by default).
