forteh 11 Posted November 10, 2014 I really like the new AFM for the helicopters, however I cannot get my head around the trim functions :confused: I use a warthog hotas with TM rcs pedals and with autotrim turned on it's perfectly stable as you would expect, with autotrim turned off it rotates with increased torque which is to be expected. However under certain circumstances adding pedal input causes it to bank in addition to rotating against the torque, the whole control system then goes to pot and the cyclic will not hold steady and it is nigh on impossible to get it to even move in the right direction without flapping wildy all over the sky :( Additionally how do the manual trim controls operate? In dcs A10c you trim realtime using the trim hat, the arma manual trim doesn't appear to be real time though and has a set and release control. Do you press trim set, then input the trim controls and then press trim release?
