About us: 2/75th Ranger Regiment "Ghost Platoon" is a MILSIM unit primarily on ARMA 3. We are compromised of Active Military and Veterans with diverse backgrounds in training and combat experience. We are currently actively looking to recruit ACTIVE military and VETERANs from all branches as well as those looking to be committed team members eager and willing to learn. Our goal is to effectively and efficiently bring true real world tactics to in game operations. This is why we are looking to add personnel with real world experience. While we are a relaxed group of individuals in game operations are taken serious. 2/75th is based as a United States Army Ranger Unit centered around small unit infantry tactics. Ranger elements are today's premier direct action force. Rangers are capable of arriving by land, sea, and air to conduct various operations to include but not limited to Air Assault & Airborne Operations; Seizing of key terrain such as airfields & strategic facilities; High Value Target elimination/capture; Deliberate and Hasty Ambushes on enemy patrols and logistics. In game rank and roles are enforced but in a relaxed setting. You will not be barraged by wanna be Drill Sergeants 24/7. All member are treated with respect and courtesy and are expected to do the same. Recruiting Is Open! We are currently looking for members who are team oriented who are looking to run operations in a realistic manner. Our unit's plan is to operate at the platoon level, meaning there will not be an endless amount of seats at the table within our unit. BCT - Roughly completed in 1 hour (Recruits) This is a VERY BASIC course to cover Arma fundamentals and isn't intended to offend anyone's intelligence. 2. AIT - Roughly completed in 2 hours (Recruits) Advances more into battle drills 3. Ranger Assessment Program, includes Air Assault and Airborne School (Current Members) 4. Ranger School (PLT Leadership positions) *Most of our training occurs at the Platoon and Squad level. MANTIA 55 Posted May 4, 2015 2 UPDATEs for 2/75th Ranger RGT "Ghost PLT": 1. A new ALiVE/MSO server is up on Reshmann 2. 2/75th Rangers GHOST PLT is now starting a new running campaign. Missions for the campaign will be ran every Sunday Night 9:00PM EST. "RUSSIAN ROULETTE" The year 2020 has marked a new rise in Ukrainian-Crimean conflict. A vast stalemate has settled across the region, and the once Crimean Separatists have established a new Russian state, known as Novorussia. It is an intensely political situation and a powder keg waiting to ignite. Over the last two years, both Ukrainian and Novorussian forces have battled over a small demilitarized zone, and been led into a tense stalemate. Attacks are regular on both sides, and small skirmishes rage weekly. However, on September 5th, 2020, a Novorussian artillery barrage, killed dozens of E.U. diplomatic personnel at a Peace Conference just northj west of the demilitarized zone. Hard pressed by the newly elected 45th President of the United States, the European Union and NATO allies have agreed to a joint resolution, with the purpose of maintaining Ukraine's sovereignty, and tearing down the barrier between East and West. Despite U.S. troops in the region, training and equipping Ukrainian forces, there has been no deliberate military action taken against Novorussian forces. And to this day, the Russian Federation and President Dmitry Medvedev, deny Russian military involvement, despite multiple sightings of Russian armored columns and airborne operations throughout the Region. All the while the tensions have continued to mount, with Russian Nuclear Bombers maintaining a constant show of force patrol along the Novorussian border. The situation is critical, and with every passing moment a new Cold War draws closer and closer, with threats looming on both sides. In the wake of the September 5th attacks, the U.S. President and Congress immediately deployed the 1st Marine Division and the 5th Naval Fleet to the Sea of Azov, to represent unity among NATO and the EU. And the 75th Ranger Regiment has begun clandestine operations throughout the Regions, to 'advise and assist' Ukrainian forces with the defense of their nation. Disclaimer - This is fictional .
