quibbly 0 Posted December 25, 2001 As owner of "Quibblys Game Domain, Pure T-3", I keep having the same problem. The Flashpoint DS will crash, with no apparent reason. My System is an AMD XP 1.7, 1 gig of Ram, SCSI 160 HD and running Windows XP Pro. I had the same problem with 2000 Server and Advanced Server. When this happens, I have the service set to restart, but it doesn't. When I log in to reboot remotely, it doesn't..(XP Pro sucks ass). Good feature of Windows 2000 Server, its version of Terminal Services, I can reboot with not problem. With XP Pro, I have to go to the office and reboot (waste of time) Ok, I went off the subject. Can anyone tell me if they are having the same problem? My server is always full, and I'm glad everyone likes it. When running with 2000 AS, I was using a P3 800, so don't try to say its the AMD chipset. The server it self is fine, just this game will crash for no reason.. Thanks for you help. OH, my domain name will be up this week. So, to join the game, just type in this address (Do this tomorrow) ofp.quibbly.com Thanks, Quibbly Quibblys Game Domain
Angry Radish 0 Posted December 25, 2001 Are you running it as a serice using firedaemon? either way, make sure you are setting the service to restart if it fails, and the server should take care of itself pretty well.

quibbly 0 Posted December 29, 2001 Wish FireDaemon would work with XP. For some reason, I'm still crashing frequently (while hosting). Any other admins having the same problem? The server itself is fine, just this game. If you guys have some tips, please let me know.. Server info follows: AMD XP 1.7, 1 gig Ram, SCSI 160 HD, Windows XP Pro. email me at: [email protected] Thanks.. All the admins of the servers should do an online chat. Work as a team and come up with some great ideas. Quibbly
