Sgt DeWolf 21 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) There are automatic mouse sensitivity adjustments in Arma 3 that I wish I could adjust. I've looked through the .cfg file, but I don't see anything obvious. Let me explain: Settings: revMouse=1; mouseSensitivityX=1; mouseSensitivityY=1; floatingZoneArea=0; mouseSmoothing=0; mouseAcceleration=0; My Logitech mouse set to 1500dpi Movement Required (physical movement across mouse pad) to turn 360 degrees: Normal: 75mm Vision Zoomed In: 150mm (+100%) Vision Zoomed Out: 50mm (-50%) Aiming Down Sights (RCO Red Dot): 75mm (+0%) Aiming Down Sights (RCO Red Dot)/Vision Zoomed In: 150mm (+100%) Aiming Down Sights (RCO Magnified): 600mm (+800%)!!! I would like to be able to adust these ratios because THEY ARE TOO DAMNED MUCH. I have to set my mouse at 1500dpi when I'd prefer to have it at about 900dpi but I can't because it's then too low when aiming down the sights. Is there a config setting I can tweak or am I just screwed? Edited September 10, 2014 by -Dark1-
ratszo 17 Posted September 10, 2014 A gaming mouse, like my razer, has quick change dpi options.
ratszo 17 Posted September 11, 2014 Also, have you tried widening 'aiming deadzone' --since the dpi seems higher in the deadzone aiming box?
Sgt DeWolf 21 Posted September 11, 2014 My mouse also has quick change dpi but I don't want to fumble around with buttons every time I aim down sights. What I'm asking for is the ability to adjust these automatic sensitivity changes to suit my play style. A second mouse slider in the game options or a setting in the .cfg file. What I'm asking for isn't unheard of. Planetside 2 has FIVE mouse sensitivity sliders in game settings.
