sprengstoff 0 Posted July 9, 2002 Hey peepz, I'm near the end of the game, but I have to share this... I played the counterattack mission, and I had a Dragunov, which I used to snipe incoming troops after the tanks and BMP's ran on my mines I placed or were torn apart by my satchel charges. Well, after having sniped three of them, which were running up to me, the other ones took a different route, hid behind a destroyed BMP, then made a sprint towards a tree, waited a few seconds behind it, and then made another sprint to drop down behind rubble... this happened with two of them, I sniped a third one that attempted it and then the other ones just decided to wait behind the BMP... this was brilliant to see. Especially seeing those guys make a sprint for it, and to wait behind the tree... it was great! Brilliant AI..... Regards, Sprengstoff
BS87 0 Posted July 9, 2002 I've noticed alot of little details like this, that are awsome. Such as the speedometer actually moving, etc. My favorite one has got to be on that one camp in Kolgujev, there is a whole in teh fence, and some broken boards. i think this is awsome, and in one MP map i paly, it surprises the hell out of people when thier guading the main gate and i just crawll through there and whipe them out. shadow 6 Posted July 9, 2002 Another thing concerning the AI I noticed is that when they flee, they flee alright. They keep running for hundreds and hundreds of meters without looking back. Very nice

Very nice <span id='postcolor'> I like this realistic touch when I am messing around in the editor but it can make some campaign games hard to finish! zverushka 0 Posted July 9, 2002 You can put a small little code snippet to prevent them from running away. thisgroup allowfleeing
