Artillery Module keeps spamming my radio.

I am trying to add the artillery module for a multiplayer mission i'm creating. I have everything working with the artillery support, but when i select communications, and select artillery, i get spammed by the ai nonstop in sidechannel. it starts prompting me to respond to missions and "reply, over?". it doesn't seem to stop and it just keeps repeating over and over. has anyone encountered this?
