raizde2 10 Posted May 24, 2014 A game mode where there is 2 teams, each with 1 HQ (with lots of defenses making it impossible for the other team to attack it) then there would be like 20 possible secondary objectives for each team, from those 3 would be randomly selected (mortar teams, small camps...) and each team would try to achieve the objectives and prevent the other team from achieving theirs (forcing each team to attack the other and defend from the other). after destroying the 3 objectives, there would be 3 more objectives, and so on until 1 team would achieve 10 of those 20, at that point the enemy HQ would become much easier to attack (automated guns or something would become disabled or something like the mortars and AA that were defending the base were some of the objectives destroyed). So the team now could go on and destroy some more objectives of those 10 left... or just go for the enemy HQ. ... OR a game like invade and annex or special forces but where 1 team defends (like the AI does) and the other team attacks, then it switches (but the first mode feels much more dynamic) ... OR something like invade and annex but 2 player teams and 1 AI defending team, and the 2 player teams compete to see which one completes the objective, so one team would try to destroy the AI mortar location while shooting at AI and the other enemy player team that is also trying to destroy the same mortar location and shooting and the first team. (still has the problem with AI defending instead of players... but since there is another team there... it might make it acceptable) This mod would be something like playing a big CTI but instead of AI we would play versus other players.
