Task Force Mamba - Infantry, Armor, and Air!

Recommended Posts

About Task Force Mamba:

Task Force Mamba (TFMamba) is a serious tactical gaming community aimed at providing fun through the use of real world military tactics. While we are a serious community, focused on tactical realism and milsim-type gameplay, we know that having fun is the most important part!

TFMamba currently owns a dedicated server box that is currently running three Arma III servers we are currently using one for public Insurgency or Annex, one for ACRE enabled OPs and one for Training. Check below for our server information and feel free to hop into the public server.

If you're a fan of the ArmA series and you're looking for a realism-oriented community, join the TFMamba today!

Website: www.tfmamba.com

Teamspeak: tfmamba.com

Weekly Training Events:

As a member of TFMamba, you are expected to attend weekly training events. These events are conducted by our Training Officers, most of which are currently serving in the US Army. Our trainings are extremely detailed and effective. You'll learn everything from LDA's to Fields of Fire to Effective Radio Comms, etc. Basically anything you need to know about being in a realism unit will be taught during these trainings. They're very helpful and we expect you to make it to as many as possible.

Required Mods:

We have put together a ModPack that is required for every TFMamba member. This modpack is currently undergoing some major changes, however it already includes the following: Task Force Radio, ShackTacHud, CBA, TAO Modular Realism. The ModPack is available in one package and there is a tutorial video on the website for how to install our specific mods.

Operations:

We have a very dedicated team of Mission Editors that work very hard to ensure we are deployed on an OP once a week. There's a ton of variety and there is always an After Action Report to discuss ups and downs of a particular mission, so anyone can voice their opinions and Mission Editors can take this into consideration for their next mission.

Recruitment

To apply visit us at www.tfmamba.com and fill out an application. If accepted, you will be placed on a Recruit Probationary status for 14 days, this will allow our Senior Officers to evaluate your performance and level of activity.

Notes:

We have over 50 active members currently. We welcome anyone to join our TeamSpeak or any one of our servers. TFMamba consists of a great bunch of guys that are very helpful and will do their best to answer any of the questions you may have.

* Age requirement of 16 or older

* Expect maturity from all members

* Attendance will be accounted for during your probationary period

* Attend training events as often as possible

* Respect our command structure

Be active, attend OPs, and help in training and you will be rewarded. We have fun outside of training and operations, but when we're conducting, we simulate professionally. If you have ANY questions, please don't hesitate to PM me, or hop on our TS. Someone will be glad to help you out!

Thanks,

[TFM] Koun7erfit

Hey guys, just wanted to drop a video here of one of our normal operations. The mission is from my perspective as mission maker and you should be able to heard JTAC and Command.

Brief update from Task Force Mamba: We're currently running two to three operations per week. One medium sized mission, one A3MP mission, and a full sized multi-division mission. We're rolling out a public ALiVE mission, and looking forward to having members of the community on board.

This Friday is Task Force Mamba's first monthly public milsim operation which we're calling FFPO (First Friday's Public Operation.)

We invite anyone new to Arma, interested in realism and milsim, or members of another group looking to see how we do things, new players and veterans to join us on 1 AUG 14 at 8:30PM EST on our public server. Just filter "mamba" in hosts or join our IP directly at 74.91.127.51:2303.

You can find the Op Order and Concept of Operation here[2] which details our mission pretty well.

We'll start meeting in TS3 (ts.tfmamba.com) around 8PM EST before jumping in game and loading the mission. No mods will be used. Slots are first come, first serve. So if you wanna be SF sniper guy or door gunner on a space ship, get there earlier.

We encourage you guys to check out the website for announcements or come talk to us in our teamspeak for any other details. Plus we just like to hang out. If you're looking for a unit but haven't gotten a feel for the type of milsim you wanna do, this operation may help you get your feet wet. Also, you can find the official reddit thred on the event here: http://www.reddit.com/r/arma/comments/2bzolw/official_task_force_mamba_public_operation_thread/

See you outside the wire! Thanks!

Tonight (11/12/2014) @ 8:30 PM EST we will be kicking off our first mission in our new campaign structure!

Task Force Mamba has restructured our setup in such a way that, every 3 month block we rotate inner clan identities and command slots. What this means it that, unlike some clans we don't have locked down command roles that will never change. There is always a chance to move up, at the end of every campaign we re-assign all available command slots through an application process. It also allows us to switch up our "identity" for Velvet Hammer we've decided to simulate a 3rd Special Forces Group, and as such we have overhauled our modpack to facilitate this from an immersion standpoint.

Each campaign cycle lasts around 3 months, and is backed by a story which drives the campaign forward. At the end of the campaign, we will switch identities! Which is a new chance to try a totally different play style and mission objectives.

Feel free to follow us on Twitter

or check out our twitch tonight, as we'll be hosting one of our streamers during the operation!
