jason211 0 Posted September 15, 2002 Hi In single player missions, is it possible to change the player to something else during the mission, for example from a private of the west to a private of the east, the switch back again? I want to do this because in the mission I have in mind, I want to simulate the player dressing in enemy uniform, while he does some spying. Regards. jason

walker 0 Posted September 15, 2002 Hi jason211 It is a problem that has taxed some of the best minds in OFP Modding. So far the answere is exactly as RalphWiggum said a very definite No! The best you can get at the moment is camera mode on a soldier you can not control (other than their action commands use binoculars look at map etc) You can see this used in the command engine click my sig. You get the ability to control the squad that the soldier is commanding though. The Command Engine allows you to control multiple squads. As to switching identities not yet but maybe one day. Kind Regards walker
jason211 0 Posted September 15, 2002 Ok thanks everyone. At least now I know. I can do it as a campaign instead, where the variables are passed on. Then the player can then be set up as whoever I want.
