Lift Chopper question

I am editing a mission that has a lift chopper..I simply replaced the vehicle it would lift..in this case a BDRM with an LAV (HQ) and the chopper says its a lift chopper but the hud isn't their as in the original mission..is it scripted someplace to certain vehicles that I need to change? I left the init the same and didn't do anything but change the vehicle model/make to something different..the chopper is the same I didn't touch that...I'm confused..I go back to the original mission and it works fine..everything else in the mission works fine..I added RH weapons pack..swapped out infantry basically changed things to all US equipment.
