Dreadp1r4te 10 Posted March 13, 2014 The Iron Sharks server is now online, permanently hosting a tweaked version of Benny's BeCTI Warfare with Zerty's edits. Hosted by HFBServers, we've experienced excellent framerates and low latency from as far as the UK. Server framerate is a smooth 50fps with all Warfare features turned on, but we need your help to stress test it further! Come check us out! About the Iron Sharks Founded at the onset of the Mechwarrior Online closed beta, we're a group of casual gamers with a focus on fun, fair gameplay for all involved, not just ourselves. Our admins and senior members are dedicated to ensuring fair, balanced play in anything we play, including boycotting the dreaded Gausscat back in MWO days. As for foraying into new games, our members play a variety of games like World of Tanks, Battlefield 3/4, and we're starting to venture into the Armaverse (with myself having the most Arma experience, dating all the way back to the original Operation Flashpoint; where AI simply couldn't see you if you were in a bush.) What you can expect Fair, uncorrupted admins. Enforcement of rules without compromising gameplay. Dynamic mission settings based on what the players want, within reason. Lots and lots of pretty explosions. But Dread, what about mods?! Good question Timmy! ("My name isn't-") Yes it is, hush now. We currently support only client side mods, with a few built in tweaks I'll let you discover on your own (hint: has something to do with choppers). The tweaks will be downloaded automagically as part of the mission package when you connect! As far as the client side stuff, we currently have support for CBA 4 and 5 (for you late updaters) as well as JSRS 2.1, Blastcore A3 (hence, pretty explosions), and TMR. SoS support is coming soon, and if you have other client-side mods you'd like to see, let us know here! Be sure to post a link so I can find it easily, coz we pirates are lazy.
