Gunner can't free look and only has locked camera and third person perspectives

I am working on an addon, and i copied a config from another addon (given the approppriate credits) and have come across an error where in the gunner seat, it only has 2 views, one of which is third person and the other which is a first person view but you cannot alt+look...

Any ideas what might be causing this? Lack of or the existence of a magic line in the config that i have over looked?

EDIT: Found out: forceGunnerOptics was set to true. just set it to false and it should work for anyone having the problem.
