pabloelkillo 18 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) Valhalla Tactical Overview Valhalla Tactical (ValTac) is a Valhalla Gamer (Australia based) group that runs realistic military style missions in Arma 2. Our focus is on enjoyable tactical missions based on teamwork and strategy while avoiding doing things “just because the military does themâ€. This is what helps ValTac be a fun and serious group at the same time. We have two main methods of communication, the Valhalla Tactical forums section on the Valhalla Gamer Community forums and the Valhalla Tactical Teamspeak channels on the Valhalla Gamer Teamspeak Server. Forums: http://www.valhallag...halla-tactical/ Teamspeak: ts3.valhallagamer.com Mods In ValTac we utilise a number of mods for Arma 2 to enhance gameplay including @ACE, @ACRE and @sthud. We have a number of guides available to help you installing the mods. We also run familiarisation sessions for new recruits to help get the mods set up and to explain how their fundamental aspects work. Training Training is an essential part of ValTac, it allows us to perform in game and not get ourselves or our team mates killed due to not knowing what button to press or what corner of the room to cover. ValTac has two main training courses and multiple specialist training courses. The two main training courses are mandatory to be a full member of ValTac, they are Bootcamp and Mod Familiarisation. The specialist training courses are optional but cover a more diverse range of topics, and allow you to have first pick of the specialist slot on a mission night. Missions ValTac missions are what all this is for; the training, the practice, the hard work, all coming together. Currently ValTac runs a single weekly mission every Friday night at 8PM (AEST - Brisbane Time). The server will be open at 7:30pm for people to start getting ready and making sure their mods work. Slot selection is fairly open, except those that have completed the relevant specialist training have first pick at those specialist slots.
