aviax 10 Posted January 3, 2014 Currently our community has been searching for a server host that offers headless client, so far we've only found Jest server, but even without headless client there simply to expensive. We've been through a few server hosts and currently we are using HFB servers, so far our only complaint is it's harder to enable mods as they wanted to do the command line work themselves and they don't seem to allow for you to do it yourself, and their arma 3 config file is outdated (but we can manually update that ourselves). But hey for 20 bucks a month for 50 slots, and good performance I can't complain, the one thing that's missing is headless client to work with the UPSMON script almost all of our mission us. heLLman 1 Posted January 9, 2014 After a disastrous attempt with Multiplay who are just terrible. HFB Servers were a snap and we were up and running with a 50 slot server in no time. Seems pretty easy to configure although i might not say that when i get into the tough stuff. Even though the server is in the US and we are playing in Australia, we are quite happy to settle for a 200 ping in return for a stable good server environment. Multiplay Server kept resetting/kicking us because the Domination map was apparently too CPU intensive on a per person basis due to their throttling. Compared to HFB they are way more expensive and can't provide a stable server environment to save their lives. A big thumbs down for them and their business model.
