cross888 10 Posted January 1, 2014 (edited) TF Centurion (UK/US Casual SF Community) About TF Centurion We are a joint taskforce made up of British and American players; however we do welcome new applicants regardless of nationality. We are all working class adults, military vets or college students who have real lives and are not overly serious about anything. However, needless to say, when we dedicate a slice of time out of our day to play, we play to win. We believe in playing the game it's what were here to do not throw up salutes and call each over sir whilst polishing each others guns with our mouths. We don't do bullshit. TF Centurions Organisation: We don't have a rank structure but we do have roles and responsibilities its up to the player how much you want to get stuck in. For example administration is conducted by members who want to dedicate there time to the group weather that be they join the training team or the recruitment team. We are orbated similar to a UK SF Special Boats Squadron (SEALS for you Americans) What type of missions can you expect to be playing? Depending on our “campaign†at the time we can either be doing general warfare SF operations for example, Close Target Recon, Commando raids, and deep battle space recon. Or counter Insurgency missions much like are conducted in Iraq, Africa, and Afghanistan Who are we looking for? We are looking for people who read the 'About TF Centurion' section and felt some sort of relevance. Although we are pretty laid back we do have some requirements: 16 years of age or older Headset that isn’t made out of a Potato Teamspeak and other required Addons installed and working Able to dedicate 1-2 hours of time to gaming during our scheduled Operations nights Application Process We currently have a selection process which consists of two phases. Selections sole purpose is to give us an idea of your skill set and to add a fun and unique aspect to our application process. Selection is an SF scenario on our server were the directing staff will drop you in at the deep end, for example a commando raid style mission or a sniper hide where we evaluates your skills and drills. Typically were looking at your knowledge of military tactics and ARMA. With this selection we can get a grasp of what training you need to complete to get you up to speed with our standard of cohesion in TF Centurion. On completion of selection you will be placed into a troop based on your nationality and playstyle. Training: Training is conducted weekly to stay current on TTPs used in TF Centurion and to prepare for weekly Deployments in our theater of operation.
