Can't reset to default keybindings

Hey all,

I've recently gotten back into Arma3 ( i've owned it since the beginning but never really played it for some reason ) and after a week or so of doing allot of I & A multiplayer missions, ( from ahoyworld) i decided i wanted to start practicing piloting helo's abit. So i went into the keybinding menu. It was set to "Arma 3" so i saw there where some other keybinds and was checking around a bit to see differences but then i noticed that my arma 3 keybindings where changed and i can't reset them back to what they were. ( in this case it flipped around the Q & Z keys in helo's around to something else ( and many other keys in other bind menu's also)) but when i selected the arma 3 keybind loadout again it didn't change them to what i had after i installed the game.

Is there any way to get these keybindings back towards what they are after installing the game. or should i start finding a keybind loadout on paper and manually check everything?

You looking in 'user/documents/arma3 profiles?

Creating a new profile will default the keybinds.

i'll try to be a bit more precize.

- I was in the Controls -> Keybindings menu from ARMA3

- Was trying out some different Presets (it was by default preset ARMA3 and i checked some of the others to see what changes)

- Then i try'd to change back to keybind preset Arma 3 but this didn't work. I just stick on some really weird keybinds (for example increasing thrust in helo's / planes is all of the sudden left shift instead of Q)

- i also noticed that the action to switch on your Laser sight/Flashlight is gone (i believe it was called toggle attachment or something like that? in the infantery keybinding menu) the complete action is gone so i can't even rebind it to what it is by default ( L )

- I already tried creating a new profile / removing my current. but this doesn't work. the new profile i create instantly gets the same weird keybinds that aren't the default ARMA3 preset keybindings

Did a full reïnstal, removed the instal folder in the steamapps map, removed the profile folders and restarted the computer. Yet after installing ARMA3 again via steam the keybinds are still not back to normal..

I've been attempting to do the same thing. Is there really no way to do this? I've tried the same things that you have.

I am having similar issue.

I came back on after a while off and found that I am on auto run and sofar all the suggestions I have found to stop dont work.

Want to know how to reset all keybinds back to default. How do I do this please?

Found a solution.  Try this

"Your easiest solution is to go to File Explorer > Documents > Arma3 - Other Profiles. Find your ingame name and delete that folder. It means you will have to re-enter ARMA 3 and reset all your parameters, but it should fix your issue". Good luck
