PAA Texture size is always 2.731kb after texview export

I have Absolutely no idea whats wrong,

In the past when i made PAA files the filesize was always around 200 to 400kb

the resolution of the file was 2048*2048, now when i save a newly made skin into the TGA format and then convert it to a PAA the filesize is always 2.731kb, even when i open up the old files ( that were around 200kb ) and save them again they go up to a filesize of 2.731kb

anyone had this problem or can offer me help to lower the filesize again?
