How to have Development Build and Final installed at the same time?

I want to use the Development Build, but some missions or a lot servers request the Final to run.

So i need to switch the Steam Beta mode every time which includes downloading and installing several hundred megabytes again and again.

Is there a way to avoid this similar to using the folder method -mod=beta on ArmA II?

Hacky, risky and not sure if still effective, but:

Just copy the addons folder of the stable to another location,

rename the addons folder of the dev temporarily when you want to use the stable,

and reference the copy of the addons folder of the stable via the mod parameter.

what about the .exe?

well true. so just copy the whole folder from the stable version
