Are you looking for a fun, active unit? Do you take pride in your Arma II/ Arma III skills? Are you searching for a helpful, dedicated group of people to show you the ropes or help you hone in your skills? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the IX-TF may be right for you!

With a fun yet serious and dedicated stance towards making the most of Arma's gameplay experience, the IX Task Force (IX-TF) takes pride in being one of the most effective tactical realism units in existence. We actively participate in a wide range of mission types from your average day-to-day patrol route to night-time amphibious insertion assault operations! With over 30 active members, there will be members to interact and game with throughout the day and often through the night.

Because our unit often receives individuals with varying skill sets and experience with tactical military games, we require all members to attend two preliminary training sessions. The initial Basic Military Qualification (BMQ) training and Solder Qualification (SQ) training will cover a vast variety of topics from simple team management and marksmanship to advanced squad tactics, close quarters shooting techniques, and asymmetric movement strategies. While we believe that our initial training should be comprehensive, we also believe that individuals often gain more from applying their training to operations; hence, the two training sessions will cover at most eight hours total.

The IX Task Force follows the Canadian Military Rank structure and represents CANSOFCOM in-game. Within CANSOFCOM, we currently have the CSOR, JTF2, and 427SOAS active. The CJIRU is currently on standby for future expansion. The unit runs a verified veteran program where we verify the authenticity of applicants claiming to be current members of the armed forces or veterans. Subsequently, we do employ up-to-date tactics and procedures that meet OPSEC requirements.

If you are interested and operate with a mature, yet fun attitude, please come on down to our teamspeak! One of our many officers will talk to you about joining immediately.
