Hello and welcome the 2nd Royal Anglian Regiment, 'The Poachers'.

We are an Arma 3 MILSIM unit located in Britain. I myself are from Wales and I am currently undergoing training with the RAF.

This unit is set up to give players the opportunity to play with friends in a relaxed military environment. We are a MILSIM unit

and abide by customs set up in the British Armed Forces. However, we understand that this is not everyones cup of tea so

here at 2nd RAR we take a more relaxed approach, we dont expect you to call people sir or ma'am. However what we do expect

of you is that you grant every member the respect you would expect to be given.

The 2nd RAR is a completely new unit and is currently in the teething stage, we are accepting a limited amount of applicants to help

out with officer and NCO roles, as well as helping out with admin. We currently have 3 branches included in the unit:

2nd Royal Anglian Regiment (Infantry roles)

617 Squadron RAF (detached for CAS and transport services)

32 Engineer Regiment (for vehicle maintenance and sapper duties)

At this moment in time we are not accepting applications for either 617 Squadron and 32 Engineer Regiment

A Company, 1st Platoon has opened up a second squad, due to the first squad being full.

Thanks to everyone that has joinedwe are hoping to get another squad filled within the next week or so :)

Operations:

Operation Candlelight: Completed, after action report is below

Link up with Rebel Militia and get information about CSAT Forces in and around Air Station Mike-26

Operation Strikeback:

British forces are now conducting combat patrols on the western side of Stratis. However, a U.S. Commanche-class attack helicopter has crashed to the north of the British

outpost at Mike-26. A highly trained team is to secure the crash site and extract any survivors for the wreckage. The crash could not have come at a worse time, as CSAT patrols become increasing

more regular and more fierce. The outpost at Mike-26 will need all the men it has got to stop it from falling into enemy hands...

More intel on the way soon :)

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update from me about the unit and Operation Candlelight

The unit is starting to take shapes with people being placed into position in the 2nd Royal Anglian Regiment

On Thursday 14th of November a detachment of the 2nd Royal Anglian Regiment landed on the eastern coast

on the Island of Stratis to conduct a CTR (close target reconnaissance) of Air Station Mike-26.

After reaching the OP (observation point) the 4 man team received intelligence that a HVT (high value target)

was in the area of Mike-26. Liaising with 39 Squadron RAF, who had dispatched a UAV to the area to help

gather intelligence for the ground element, the ground team were able to move in and clear the area. The

HVT was positively identified to be a Platoon Commander, equivalent to a 1st Lt. Only one casualty was

taken and the acts of the Platoon Medic, CPL.Dibz, managed to stabilize the injured solider and allow the

solider to maintain active combat stance.

After Mike-26 was cleared, the ground team was given the order to clear objectives to the north, a roadblock.

The team proceeded to an old outpost which was first made clear by going door to door. The team then set up

and ambush towards the north of the checkpoint and were able to pacify all known targets in the area.

The team regrouped back at Air Station Mike-26 and got back on comms to Battalion Command to notify them

of a 100% mission success
