Samplethief 10 Posted September 14, 2013 Soooo, BIS really screwed the pooch with the launch of this game. Its clearly not ready. As a long term user of the series I am willing to let it slide but as a company, they really arent helping themselves at all. Its almost as if the British Government project managed this release ;) I am trying to get a bombing run or a virtual bombing run to work to no avail. Its probably (another) bug but thought id ask if anyone has this working yet. Heres what I am doing: *Setting myself up as a an Independant AAF soldier with a laser designator and laser desisgnator batteries. *Adding a support requester and syncing to player *adding a support provider - CAS Virtual bombing run and syncing to the requester *Add an enemy tank Mission starts and says support available, I point my laser designator at target and turn the beam on, It lets me go through support options and request a strike using laser guided bombs, No plane turns up and no bombs drop. It doesnt work with non virtual bombing run either where i actually put the AAF plane (CAS) into the mission and sync it with the provider. The plane turns up and flys around but again, no bombs dropped. Doesnt work with unguided bombs either. Is this a known issue, has anybody else got it working? I know it works with choppers but i want to use jets for the particular mission i am looking to put together. ALSO i thought id give it a go using a UAV. I tell the UAV to destroy the target using the UAV terminal, again it just flys around and doesnt drop any bombs What the Fluck BIS?
Kellywho 10 Posted September 14, 2013 Yeah I can't seem to get the Buzzard to work with the CAS module. But I did set up a grayhawk CAS module and it worked fine.

Polygon 11 Posted September 15, 2013 Do you have a ticket on FT for this problem to vote on?
Wakamole 10 Posted September 15, 2013 I'm having the same problem, but I say it was already reported on the arma 3 feedback page. We can only hope the devs are working on it.
kylania 568 Posted September 15, 2013 It kinda works! At least the plane is spawned, desimulated, but then deleted as soon as you pick an ammo type. So maybe attach the module to the target and it'll collide!
