Static Weapon assembly issue

Once I disassemble a static weapon I am unable to re-assemble it, issue or just me?

I have made sure they are both close/in the same inventory pile.

Tried as an engineer.

Any help is appreciated.

take one as backpack, point to the other, and assemble. same for all static weapons.
