Col. Kurtz 0 Posted August 12, 2002 Well you and I agree on one thing Paratrooper, Apocalypse Now. Its my favourite film, but not as a film that shows war. A lot of people dont like it because it dosnt have realistic Vietnam battles. What i like about it is how it shows how screwed up the whole thing was, and the effect of war on soldiers. The Beast is cool. Even though its made by Americans, since there are no Americans in it, they havent gone all smutty patriotic over it. The opening of the film is good. The whole film is good, and brutal. I think Stalingrad should be up there. thats my favourite war film. So well done, so authentic. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
