Imonars 10 Posted August 11, 2013 Hello, while I was playing Wasteland with around 13 fps. Although I tried before to tweak and play with my video settings I had no luck, so I decided to try it again. I found this possible fix and I kind of had no lag in multiplayer since, just go to video settings and and tweak everything as you like, but if you have shadows on LOW, try to raise them a bit to high or standard, although this might seems like a bad idea to increase FPS, but it actually worked and I went from 13 fps to 40 on medium settings and shadows on standard (up from low). Some players on the same server reported that it worked, so I thought I might just post it here. Also I heard that you should try to put the settings on ULTRA first then tweak them down until you get the desired FPS. Later
ck-claw 1 Posted August 11, 2013 This is because setting 'shadows' to high and above 'apparently' shifts the process from your CPU to your GPU. I wouldn't say it cures MP lag but, would help slightly improve fps is your pc struggles-like mine ;)
TSAndrey 1 Posted August 12, 2013 This is true, Shadows on Low can bring worse FPS than Shadows on other settings. This doesn't fix anything though...
