Multiplayer issue: getting autokicked from every server

I have had this game for some months now, and ever since I bought it the multiplayer has worked fine. Recently, namely yesterday, whenever I try to join any server the game stays at the birds-eye view of Stratis for about 3 minutes before it says "you have been kicked from the game".

I have never cheated in multiplayer, and I have only recently started to use it.

I notice others are having similar problems with multiplayer but nobody describes it as a "you have been kicked message", what should I do to fix this?

I have this also, I assume it's the same for the others but they just didn't wait long enough to see the message. I'm trying to reinstall right now and see if that fixes anything.

EDIT: Fixed it by deleting everything in ArmA 3 folder except Addons and DirectX and then verifying game cache in Steam

sorry, I'm a bit of a newbie at this, I don't know where I can even find the ArmA3 folder let alone verifying game cache in Steam. Can somebody walk me through the process?

In steam-go to libary,right click arma3,properties,local files, verify integrity of game cache.

hmm, I am having more difficulty with this than expected

I did everything like UNDERDAOATH said, but I get to the "verify integrity of game cache", it just sits there. I went to go take a shower, I come back and it's still at 0%

what do I do?

EDIT: ok, hopefully I can finally stop bothering you guys. Apparently I was in "offline mode" in Steam.
